I'm not a big motorcycle guy, so pardon me if I don't know the lingo. I bought this bike about 8 years ago on a lark. I rode a lot for a couple of years, then not so much. I think it could be a good bike for someone with the tools and skills to keep it tuned - but that's not me.

A previous owner converted it to something like a cafe racer, so it has that sort of windscreen on it. It has pod air filters, but I also have a stock airbox to go with it. The manifold has been redone to have one exhaust, and it has a Supertrapp muffler.

    Here's some pics I posted in 2006: http://xjbikes.com/coppermine/displayim ... pos=0.html

A few years ago it started leaking from the side of the gas tank. I scraped off the bubbled-up paint and discovered there was a patch covering up a dent and a hole in the tank. I plugged the hole but never repatched or repainted it.

It hasn't been started in about 2 years, but I did put Sta-Bil in the gas tank on a friend's recommendation. It has a flat rear tire, but I have a replacement (unmounted).

From day one it ran well after starting, but was a pain to start some days. I'm sure the battery is long dead now, but it might take a charge - I don't know.

I'm not sure what to ask for it. I'm not looking to get rich off it, but I don't want to get stiffed either. It might be worth more part-by-part, but I don't have the tools, skills, or room to disassemble it.

I've been honest about the condition, and I'd appreciate any thoughts you have on a fair asking price. Make an offer if you're so inclined.

Actually, 300 was my best uneducated guess. Thanks
