1982 xj750 gas tank issue

    where does the vacuum line run from the petcock. Does it go to the nipple on the #carb . Can someone take a pic where it goes from the tank . Thanks

    Normally goes to # 3 carb intake port . There are 2 nipples on the petcock one is the fuel line other is the vacuum port.

    The smaller one is for vacuum. It can go to any intake vacuum port, but as was mentioned #3 is the normal place since it's baseline for synching the carbs.

    Ok thanks guys , I got this bike in a trade and they did some work on it , so things were messed with and not put back together. And just to be clear were talking about the nipple on top of the carb that has the little rubber stoppers on them . Sorry I'm fairly new to this , sorry if it's a stupid question .
