    Hi,

I am in search of a front fairing for a 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim. I noticed a few styles that must have been a stock option?... one that seemed a bit larger with actually storage compartments and the other a much smaller fairing. I am unsure if the Seca submodel fairing fits the maxim fairing but if it does I would be interested in knowing as it would help with my searches. Here is one style I have seen in my searches. Another one looked like this.

Any front fairing that will fit I would be interesting in looking at however. I just really need something to help with the wind when driving down the highway to work.

I am also looking for the taller stock sissy bar for this bike. It is currently equipped with the short one (raises just above the seat an inch or two). It looks like this. I would prefer it with a padding. I would also be interested in an sissy bar that will fit the bike and have a style similar to the stock style. I have seen many universal ones but I am very new to all this. I have not owned a bike in about 10 years and at the time it was a sport bike with a full fairing on it.

Thank you for any and all help!

    Here is the bike.

You don't need to post the same 'wanted' stuff in different forums.....one will suffice. That said, as I said in your other forum, the tall ones are not common, and be prepared to pay a pretty good penny for one. I have a tall backrest with the pad for your bike if you're interested in talking.

As far as the fairing, the two you show are the same thing, the silver one has the lowers and the red one doesnt.

Take a look at the black 650 maxim full-dress up in the showcase.....that is a windjammer. So, you can get a pretty good idea of what your's would look like if you went that route.

    Hey Cawdor,

Are you still looking for the fairing?

I have one that I am willing to part with!

(I bought it earlier this year as a package deal for side pods. It is the original stock version. I even found installation instructions on-line!)

    Let me know!
