Pulled out my fork springs, and not only are they both shorter than the manual calls for (23.86 inches free length), but one is almost 1.5 inches shorter than the other. So I figure it might be time for new springs! I'm wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for me? I live in Amsterdam, so shipping things from the states kicks my ass with duty fee's, so I'd prefer something in the EU somewhere.

Also there's bits of information about spacers needed sometimes, but it sounds like it isn't an exact science and just needs a bit of testing to find the perfect balance between spacer length vs. amount of fork oil?

    Help is much appreciated!

Wirth German made progressive forks or Hagen UK made close to home. Or try eBay for second hand options? Dependent on your budget.

I have found a couple used replacement forks, but I'm not so keen on switching my 30 year old springs for another pair of 30 year old springs. Those Promoto look promising though, and I'll look into Wirth and Hagen as well. Thanks!
