Anybody have any experience or recommendations regarding tire brands/models for an 85 Maxim?

    Front 100/90-19 57H
    Rear 130/90-16 67H

I am looking at some Dunlop Elites.

I want to get good tires. I am willing to pay a little more for the good stuff. What are the best tires for this bike?

I just put Bridgestone S11's on my 86 XJ and I like the way they ride and handle.

thanks for all of your responses. i just ordered a set of Bridgestone S11 Spitfires. I was leaning toward something with raised white lettering. I got a good deal on them at www.bikebandit.com $150 for the pair including taxes and shipping. I'll let you know how I like'em.

You're doing the right thing. It really isn't a great idea to ride on bald or dry-rotted tires.
