Hey everyone I have some random parts that I no longer need and can let go for relatively cheap.

    1. Left side view mirror in great condition
    IMG_0465 [378446].JPG

    2. Harley exhaust tips, that fit my XJ and do not g'cone' look (refer to the picture to see what my bike looked like with them on).

    IMG_0449 [378089].JPG IMG_0364 [378455].JPG
    3. Manifold air intake boots *** (#1,#3,#4 are good with no cracks, however, #2 is wrapped in some plaster patch stuff and pulls a little air. You could silicon fill it, but i had just got a new one and didn't mess with it).

    4. A spare gas tank i was told it would fit my 85 XJ700 but it does not i am not sure what year and model it goes to but it was too narrow for my bike (has rust on inside and will need to be cleaned and lined).

    PM for pics and questions

O well that is good to know, haha. My bike only came with the one so i took it off altogether, but i never had another one to compare it to. Do you happen to know which model it is intended for?

Do the Harley mufflers have the side cutout opening or are they solid straight through? Also where are you located?

I made a lengthy reply, but somewhere it disappeared! So, here is condensed version.....
That mirror was for the 550 maxim, 650 Maxim, Some of the 750 maxims (Excluding the 1985/1986 700 maxims, 750 maxims and Maxim X models). The early Viragos, Many of the Specials, etc...

You should have teardrop mirrors. They were on the 85/86 models, the 84-up viragos, vMax, V-star, etc....

Wow thank you very much! Hey hogfiddles, i read on another thread that you were in need of a tank and as i mentioned in the initial post on this thread I have one, but I am not sure what it belongs to. Here are some pictures so you can see if it is the type you needed. IMG_0582 [153660].JPG IMG_0584 [153661].JPG
It would not fit my bike because the 'shoulders' (i don't really know the technical term) were to narrow and the hole in the back (the bolt opening near the front of your seat that goes through to mount the tank to the frame) is circular while on my bike it is ovular. Also my Petcock opening and fuel gauge meter opening are on the same side of the tank, this one is on opposite sides.

That's a 1984-up virago tank. Nope, don't need it. Thanks for thinking of me though!

Technical term is "oval" or "oblong". It's not 'ovular'---- the only thing that could ever be ovular on your bike would be a rider of the fairer gender. Lol

    From Seinfeld:
"Why do they call it Ovaltine? The mug is round. The jar is round. They should call it Roundtine."
    From Wikipedia:
"Ovaltine was developed in Berne, Switzerland, where it is known by its original name, Ovomaltine (from ovum, Latin for "egg," and malt, which were originally its main ingredients)."

    "That's gold, Jerry! Gold!"
