1986 Yamaha XJ700 Maxim - 19k - Runs Great

    Midnight Blue 1986 XJ700 Airhead for sale.


    At 16k miles the engine was tuned up and brake system completely rebuilt and upgraded. Has slotted rotors, steel braided brake lines, and performance pads.



    Replaced the airbox with pod-filters and tuned the jets to make it run great with pods. Original airbox is included if you want to go back. I designed, printed, and installed 3D printed honeycomb between the pod filters and carbs that makes it run much better by smoothing airflow.
    Ride the clutch until about 5mph and it has no dead spots after that.


    Also comes with a phone holder for GPS and a USB charging port that also displays battery voltage wired in and mounted on the side cover. It is wired so that it is only powered with the ignition on; no battery drain.


    Lithum battery.



    Oil is new, Carbs are freshly rebuilt, Gear oil changed.
    Just finished colortuning.
