For Sale 1993 XJ600S, Reno-Tahoe-Carson area

Finally retiring from my old XJ600 Seca II which I've had for about 15 years I guess. It has about 80,000 miles on it (reads 73,000 due to bad/missing speedometer cable for quite a while). It will need a clutch rebuild -- the thrust bearing has gone again. The clutch basket probably should be replaced or smoothed out. I just don't have a tool to do so.

Front Metzeler Lasertec tire was put on just about three weeks before the clutch failure, so it's quite new. A new speedometer cable was put in about six months ago along with EBC clutch plates and springs.

Fairing is original, cracked and held on with a zip tie. Front DRL/turn signals and brake lights were replaced with LEDs, along with a compatible electronic flasher. This limits battery drain when coaxing it to start in sub-freezing temperatures (I ride all year round). I still have the original flasher and bulbs too. Seat cover replacement needs to be replaced itself, as now it too has cracked apart. One front fork seal is leaky. The gas cap's rubber seal is worn down so water seeps into the tank when it rains or snows.

Definitely only a bike I'd recommend for someone who loves the XJ bikes and wants to keep one running, or have some spare parts around.

Bike has a California title, but is not currently registered. Was most recently registered in Nevada, not that that means anything (Nevada is a rare state in that you don't need to transfer your title from another state to register your vehicle).
