I am making a 2 bottle manometer because the guy I used to borrow the Morgan Carbtune now lives 4 hours away.

In regards to fluid within the manometer system; ATF, Power Steering Fluid, Tractor Hydraulic Fluid w/ dye added? Any reason that one of those three would NOT be a good choice?

From what I read ATF is preferred. I have plenty of the THF (at least until I fix the weeping seal on my rear axle ) and during moving I found two bottles of PSF. The ATF I have is being used in the F150.

i just use water. the whole thing is, no matter how hard you blow into one tube, nothing but air comes out the other tube. if you get some bubbles staying in the water put a drop of cream rinse hair conditioner in the water.

My financial situation currently is very bleak. :(
That could/ should change as I had a few interviews that (I thought) went very well last week. :)

I made the two bottle and used ATF. It works well. Just be sure that the bottles are glass and not plastic. The vacuum will collapse plastic.
