    Hey Y’all,

New to the forum, first post…

I’ve got 2 1982 and 2 1983 Turbo XJ650’s, and I need to let them go. I got them about 3 years ago from the previous owner in Wisconsin. The bikes are now with me in Norther Ca. I got them thinking it would be a fun couple projects, then I got really busy with customer builds. These have taken up room long enough, time to send them on to their next home. Three are complete and assembled. The fourth is a full roller with the body work removed. All engines spin freely and have low mileage. They are as follows 38k, 27k, 22k, and 4k miles.

I’ve connected a battery to each and the motors all turn over freely. They haven’t run in at least a decade and need everything rubber replaced.

let me know if there is any interest, I’m willing to let these go super cheap. I need the space in the shop, help me save these from ending up in a scrap yard!

    cheers
    -Scott

Bikes sold! Not sure how to close this post. For curiosity sake, I sold them for 4k.
    Cheers

@Builds by Scott, Good for you! I hope they are going to a home where they will be rehabilitated and loved. I don't know your market but it seems like you got a fair price for them. Yamaha Turbos do not command big money for some reason. Don't worry about closing the thread as it will just drift down the line. It will remain where we can use it for research if needed.

    Easy restoration for someone
Having 4 bikes to select the best part from
Then you could restore the next bike just not as nice ha

That was my original plan. I just got two busy with customer bike builds. Then I bought a machine shop worth of equipment last month. No more room for the ‘maybe next year’ project bikes.
