50,000 mile service? valve job or not?

    So, going on long trip with maximillion (400+mile). Should I take the head off for a valve job and seals? Running great now but don't want any problems. What do you all think???? Thanks :)

    When is the last time they were checked? If the answer is more than 4,500 miles ago you might as well check them now.

    Check the Compression numbers.

    If it shows you the Valves are cool, ... hit the road.

    58,000 ~ 60,000 ... Replace Cam Chain.
    Valve Job with New Seals.
