550 almost there

    So, after sorting the electrics and rebuilding carbs I got the 550 running, but couldn't get the idle right.

    Turned out the shaft seals were bad. Like, real bad. Hard, cracked. Having replaced those, I put the carbs back on and the bike ran supernice.

    Except one thing. I tried adjusting the mixture, and the #2 mixture screw seized and stripped.

    Tomorrow I'm gonna look for a left-handed drill bit...
