550 oil cooler???

    i have a 81 seca 550 and i want to put an oil cooler on the bike considering i live in cali and its summer i am affraid of overheating, the only problem i see with this is i don't see any external oil lines to tap into, i was wondering if anybody has done this before and could help me out

    Does the American market model not come out with one ?

    The NZ model had them as standard, so it shouldn't be to hard to get the bits to do it

    Find one from the FJ600, FZ600 or the Radian. The 600 motor started out as a 550 and will easily interchange. Just make sure to get the adapter along with the oil cooler. You might also need the threaded nut/bolt that holds it all together. Fresh orings are good also.
