    well it took longer than expected..... damn work

    i started with the stock plastic seat base and foam. i cut the rear section of the pan off and made an aluminum hump.

    i then cut down the foam to the desired height and added 3/4 inch foam on the hump and sides as well as some firmer closed cell in the seating area.

    finally made a cover from upholstery vinyl and glued it down with water activated poly glue.

    here it is. not perfect but it'll work just fine

    That's sweet!
    How did you manage to glue the "cord"?, inbetween the seams.
    Is it just glued over the seam or is the vinyl glued to the cord, then the whole thing applied as one?

    there is no cord

    it's a folded over seam, like most modern seats
