I'm making a bump stop for my center stand. The bike has 4 into 1 exhaust need to know the distance between the drive chain and the center stand when in the up position on a bike with stock exhaust.

Think about it for a minute...
    it's gonna VARY.

I just rolled one of mine off the centerstand and on the sidestand there's only about 12mm (1/2") or so with nobody on the bike, the chain properly adjusted (about 45mm free play, I like 'em slightly looser than spec) and the rear shocks in the center position. If I reach over and push down REAL HARD I can get it to just touch.

When the stand is up, its at about a 15* or so "hang" from horizontal.

The "pads" are about 8 1/2" or so off the ground with the bike level (stock size Dunlop D404 on the back.)

    Do you need a pic?

OK, cool because it wasn't gonna be tonight.

The chain could actually drag on the stand if it was really loose, but like I said it will vary based on the chain adjustment. It's quite close, I was actually surprised.

Better to use the angle and distance from the ground measurements, if your bike has a 110/90-18 on the back and stock shocks that would be a better measurement.

GOT IT! The only measurement you'll need:

The original up-stop is located DIRECTLY below (and slightly inboard) of the muffler mounting bolt on the left footpeg bracket.

The bottom of the stop (including the rubber bumper) is 143mm (~5 5/8") below the center of the muffler mounting bolt, straight down.
