    I have a 550 and a 1100
My 1100 needs a new exhaust...
The headers on my 550 at face value look like they would fit onto my 1100 with no problems at all.

So my question is would this be the same for 650 headers?
Will some '82 XJ650 headers fit ok onto my '82 XJ1100

    Chacal?
    Anyone?

    Thanks :)

Hey Dave - where are you on the seacoast?

I can't answer your question - but so far you are the only other XJ member I've seen from NH other than Andy, and he doesn't count. haha.

I wouldn't even bet spare change on that.
As a general rule, the 650/750/900 seem to have been designed together.
The 1100 descended from the XS-11, and is bigger, including TALLER.
The pipes might hit the bottom of the motor, you could easily measure that. Even if they fit, there's the problem of a smaller inside diameter, and the clamp end diameter.
