650 vs 750 Maxim

    Hello Everyone!
    I am looking at purchasing a 1982 650 Maxim. It seems to be in really good condition. I have not been able to test drive it yet, but am planning on it in the next few days. Does anyone know how the power compares between the 650 and 750. I owned a 1982 750 Maxim a few years ago and remembered that it had plenty of power for highway riding, 2 up riding, etc. Thanks!

    My 650 does great on the slab or the local roads around town. I've had a passenger and had no issues. Never rode the 750 so I can't give you a comparison but the 650 seems to do just fine imo

    A 750 would walk away from the 650, probably an extra 10-15 Horse. I'm heavily biased here though, love my 'little' 650... Nothing to sneeze at.
