Could someone please confirm that it's a 6mm adapter that's needed when using a carb synchronizer on XJ bikes?

    Thanks!

which gauge(s) do you have? I have the four gauge carb sync. the adapters are 6mm but will not screw into our carbs. The vac line that comes with the set up ain't worth a d@mn. Go to a autoparts store and get enough vac line to splice into the set up. 3" piece from gauge nozzle > oscillation adapter> 12" piece>6 mm adapters w/small hole toward gauge> 3" piece to slip over carb vac port. the gold screw inside the face is to adjust the needle so all the gauges start at the same place. works great and makes the vac sync fast and simple.

I'm ordering a Motion Pro 4 column one, and the default set does not come with the 6mm adapters, so I just want to make sure that's the size I need and order the extra adapters as an extra.

I too have the 4 column sync tool and I also ordered the extra adapters. I did not need any adapters, the hoses slip directly on to the vacuum ports on the rubber intakes.

I believe the adapters are for bikes that don't have the vacuum nipples like ours do. My buddy has a Honda Magna and his bike requires the long tube-like adapters that screw into his vacuum ports. The hoses then slip onto the adapters.
