750 maxim almost ready, ignition rough

    So i know i cannot keep the bike running without much oil or no gas but it has tried to start when i press the starter, throws a couple of paper towels out of the intake.(headers not on cant let corrosion in) lateley it has not done that and i would like to know if that has to do with no gas or if i was just getting lucky, i know my posts are likeley infuriating but thanks for any advice.

    well, if you've got paper towels in the intake, theres no way you can get any gas in there. remove the towels and spray some easy start in there, you should get a cough or two, even without carbs
