Will the guages off of a 750 Maxim work on a 650 Maxim? I know it has a fuel guage on the 750 and thought about getting a guage set from 750 as well as a 750 tank. Is this posible?

depends on whether you have the square dash or the two-rounded-pods/w-small-square-of -ights-between-the-two-pods type.

I have the two round guages with the lights in the middle. Will it work?

The rounded pods with the small square of 4 lights in the middle........are the same for both bikes.

Now that I said that, make sure that you have the type of engine that has the electronic tach, not the mechanical tach. How can you tell? Look at the back of YOUR tach and see if the tach has only wires coming out, or if it has a cable coming out.

You just need to make sure that your's is identical to the set from the 750.

    All set now? good.....let's proceed------

You won't be able to use the fuel level indicator from the 750 tank unless you do some custom wiring. The 650 does not have provision for that in the wiring harness. Nor does that type of gauge cluster have any fuel level lights. The 750's that have a fuel indicator in the dash are the ones that have the atari cluster, or the seca's that have the extra lights, as well, in their dash clusters.

    Hope that helps.
