Hey guys here are a few pics of my maxim build that I just recently "finished". Sorry the photos are scarce (I regret not taking more throughout the build). Lets see it has powdercoated rims flat black ppg high gloss powder coating on the frame final drive housing and fork tubes custom fabbed leather seat whitewalls drag bars suicide shifted. There is more but I'm sick of typing so here's some pics

Hey thanks guys, not sure what it is you don't like about the seat HESH but since I did it I've wanted to redo it add some stitching to give it some more definition

I think it's the way it droops down in the front. It's just my personal opinion. No offense intended.

None taken I made it like that because I didn't want to run side covers and I wanted to utilize the curves of the tank throughout the build

I'd like to see more pics of how you did the hardtail.. it definitely looks different than most. How's the ride with no shocks or seat springs?

Hard to tell from the pics - are you running with no rear brake?

Last question, I promise - where did you take it for the powdercoating and how much did it cost ya?

Ok so the hardtail was really pretty simple I welded the swingarm to the frame and the added some extra support

As of right now I have no rear brake still in the process of fabbracating one

So for the powdercoating I took it to Westland mfg in town here. You may want to sit down for the price though it cost me a whopping $0. I work at Westland and powdercoating is what I do (its nice to have connections)

Is that the stock Master Cylinders or aftermarket... and if aftermarket where did you get it?

I actually like the idea of the seat. I see what you were doing with the no side covers, like that a lot. Tough to pull off though. I think for me its something with the back side of the seat, not sure though. Got some more pics?
