82 seca 750 carbs fit 81 seca 750?

    i know it may sound dumb.. but i just want to get reassurance from someone wiser than myself that these will fit.. lol i dont want to drive 75 miles (and pay $65+gas) to go get these and have them not fit.. i have hitachi's will it matter if these turn out to be mikuni's? thanks guys!. :lol:

    Yes they are basically the same bike all over,a few cosmetic differences maybe. The '81 is the RH model and the '82 RJ. They will/should be Hitachi.

    Ya the 750 used the Hitachi I know thru 85. I am not sure after that but the carbs are definitely the same. A good tune and sync job'll fix ya up right nice like. :)

    Same carb, swap away! I've done this many times on my 81 and 82 Secas.

    ok, got the carbs now im cleaning them.. found something curious though.. the jets on my old carbs were pair in as 40 & 120.. the ones on these are 40&40.. so do the 120 jets make a difference or should i keep the 40's that were already on these carbs?

    take the 120's out of ur old set and slap 'em into wher they should go in the new ones!!!!!!!


    lol, if i would have seenthose twin 40's in there, i wouldn't have bought em, is he cant get those right, then im pretty sure he cant do anything else right with a set of carbs

    The 120/40 mix is correct. 40/40 is WAY wacky. Your carb P.O. must've had spares rolling around on the floor or something.
