    Hey all

Just thought i'd post a pic up of the xj550 I rebuilt for my brother in law......tore the engine down and new rings in it, rebuilt carbs (thanks chacal), lots of aluminum polishing and powdercoating in it along with fresh paint, fork seals, all new cables, blah blah blah...........

    turned out nice!

I think I just wet myself.

(Fix the front turn signals, they're dragging the whole thing down unfairly.)

Very nice work! Bet it rides as nice as it looks.

I just "Google mapped" Elliot Lake, ON; I passed right by there back in about 1980 on the Norton on the way to Sault Ste. Marie from Manitoulin Island. There aren't a whole lot of ROADS up your way...

It's a chain driven bike. In about 800 miles it won't be rusty any more, it will be all greasy black, with interesting stuff stuck to it.

You of all people should know that, c'mon.

i think i've got about 100 hours into it which includes the repaint, all the powder coating, and metal polishing on top of the mechanical stuff, so that isn't really too bad all things considered.....
