'82 XJ550 Maxim (North American Version) Oil Pump Pickup Tube Location

    Cant really tell in manuals or schematics online what side the oil pickup tube is. I mainly just want to know if its in the front or the rear. Mainly wondering because I would like piece of mind my motor wont starve if I decide to pop the front up.
