82 XJ650 for sale

    Well guys;

    she was a great bike and I spent 2 years fixing it up but I have a new one now and need to part with this one. I have about $2000 into it and alooot of blood and sweat. I threw it up on CL but got no shows and low ballers and people backing out....what a pain. So, I'm posting here if someone is interested that has an appreciation for these older bikes. The bike is in Mckinney (North Dallas). I am asking $1450 for it. Has clean title and inspection sticker from April 08. Also have the YICS tool, extra rotor, Hayne's manual, extra lens covers and gaskets and a few other misc things. Also included, the saddlebags and backrest. There is a blade style fuse block installed already.

    As you all know they idle a bit rough (could use the mixture screws adjusted) but the carbs are clean and she runs....even after sitting for 6 months. Quick shot of starter fluid and it fired up.
