Found an awesome deal on a king queen seat for a 1982 Maxim 650 near me. Any chance it would fit on an 82 Maxim 750? I'm crossing my fingers!

Not without modifying rear of frame to accept seat, fender etc. Find a wreck xj650 and cut off rear frame and splice it in would work.

I feel your pain, I have an 83 750 midnight maxim and a king queen seat off my 82 650 that's in pretty darn good shape and wanted to put it on the 750 so my son can ride with me. Alas, it won't just fit right on and I don't even have the 750 on the road yet, so I just built him a seat for the back of my strutted, solo seat 650 so he can ride too.
