    Hi All,

Cleaning out the carbs on my 82 XJ750. Question is - are all of these #40 jets supposed to be the same size? The reason I ask is because I am using a bread tie wire (those plastic coated wires used to tie bread bags) that I stripped the plastic off to clean out the holes. After cleaning the jets on carbs #1 & #4 the wire fits through the hole easily. On carbs #2 & #3 the wire fits but its very snug and I cant poke it nearly as far through as on the other two jets.

I have soaked and cleaned them 3 times now and am starting to wonder if its just slight product variation? Or should I keep on cleaning. When shining a light through the hole it looks perfectly round. Too small to see if there's any buildup left in there with my eyes...

    Thanks
