I am looking to swap out my top triple tree from my maxim to a seca will everything line up? Basically I am trying to get to a normal clamp style upper rather that the l shaped bars it came with. I am doing this right or does anyone have any other ideas for me?

take the bars off your maxim then the splined things and get a set of risers from a seca or most any bike or atv and bolt them to the holes that are already there, you might need some extra height depending on the risers and your new bars

I thought the risers on a seca were molded into the top tree? I put a set of risers on my one bike but thought it would look cleaner the other way.

this horse died long ago, but i wanted to beat it a little more.
I took off my 82 xj750's handlebars and splined things and am left with the holes in the triple tree, but I cant seem to find a set of risers or mounts online that I can use.
I have an aftermarket handlebar (bikemaster daytona) but I cant find detailed info on what mounts work to put regular one-piece aftermarket bars on the maxim tripple tree. I bought this riser set online http://www.powermadd.com/products/ATVriser.html only to find out it only comes with the bottom pieces, no top halves so i still have no way to mount the bar.
