82 xj750j clutch

    Hey the drive gear / clutch basket comp I think is going bad on mine. Some times I think I feel the drive gear springs stretch when letting the clutch out. Anyone else feel this on thier bike?? Of course they are obsolete and cant buy a new one. Does anyone replace the springs. I dont mean the clutch springs. Id call it the pressure plate. These are the springs oposite side of the basket back side of the primary drive gear. Of course the basket is rivited to the gear.
