I am sure most people on here are aware of the rarity of these bikes, if not search the forum. I had every intention of doing this bike justice, but I really don’t have the time to invest in it. I am at the point in life that I would rather ride them than work on them.

I received this bike on trade, when I received the bike it had an incorrect fuel tank as well as an incorrect rear master cylinder. Other than that the bike fired up and ran, but didn’t run good.

Bike sputtered a lot, but did go through the gears. Tail light did not light up, don’t know if it was wiring or bulb. Tires looked good , not dry rotted. Choke slide was stiff, I don’t know if it was the slide itself or just the cable.

PO said he went through the carbs, but could not get it running correctly. I do not know the extent of the PO’s skills in carbs, I would say they need gone through properly. I would also suggest setting the valves. Both of these you can find articles on here for doing.

I have purchased the correct tank, used, it does have a ding on it but nothing terrible. It does not have internal rust, it looks good. The tank still needs a petcock / fuel level sending unit / and a new cap would probably be in order. All of these items you can get new.

I have also purchased a used rear master cyclinder, but have not installed it. I will include this with the bike.

Plastics on the bike are all there with the exception of the 2 intake looking panels that set below the gas tank. Ebay is agood source for these. Most of the plastics have the typical cracks at the mounting rings, but are still intact. Paint is faded on the tail piece.

PO recovered the seat himself in grey/gray, no tears but not perfect either.

Mainly some good solid maintenance and some time cleaning and detailing , would make this a very streetable bike.

I do have an open title, and a factory manual that I will send with it as well.

I am not desperate to sell, so lowball offers will be laughed at at, I can let it sit in the garage for years, but would most likely end up parting it out, or trading it off for something else. Yes trade are considered, for what? who knows… cash is best though.

I can not deliver this bike, unless you live with in 50 feet of me, then I will consider it.

Pm me, I can send you my phone #, or you can e-mail me yours.

?'s I will answer them all, provided of course they relate to this bike

That's a lovely machine. You should have no trouble getting your price for it. If you were closer I'd already be making room in the garage for it.

Don't fret man. In another month when the weather turns, people get bitten by the bike bug and it'll sell quickly, and for a good price.
