83 xj550 - mechanics special (SOLD)

    28k miles
    Bike runs & starts fine.

    Partially rebuilt head (valves and cleaning), new valve shims, carbs cleaned, UNI air filter, new oil and filter, fuel filter added, new chain, both sprockets new, new fork seals, fresh fork oil, battery fresh. Aftermarket seat, brakes good, tires good.

    THE BAD:
    Bleeds oil when hot. Appears to be oil pan gasket. Has been touched ground twice. RH fork welded to brace due to stripped bolts.

    I move in about a week for school and have no way to tow the bike, and already have too many vehicles as it is. My parents want the bike gone before I leave.

    looks like a pretty good deal for someone. i have 3 more project bikes i need to finish after the one i am doing now don't need anymore good luck with the sale
