    I recently got this bike and found out about the infamous rear brake shoe delamination.
    I opened up mine to check it's health (or lack of).

    Seems pretty ok to me, pads are down to to 3.5mm. But then again, I'm pretty new to this and my gut feeling says 'replace'.
    What do you think?

    You already have the drum off. Go ahead and replace the shoes so you won't have to repeat the work soon. The shoes that are on it look good, but you don't know how old they are, and you can't check them before every ride to make sure that they aren't starting to delaminate.

    Agreed;

    They are a tad thin; but regardless I would replace based on age alone.
