Wanted '85 XJ700 Fuel Tank

I have a tank that is leaking from the lower right corner. It looks like to PO tried a repair of some sort but it continues to leak. I need a tank that can bolt on for a tight budget rebuild for my first bike. Thank for any help. forgot to mention this is a Maxim model

 

I got one leaking in the same spot, really difficult place to fix without cutting and welding as it tends to be that seem that splits. It appears virago tanks of the same year have a very simular fit to them but may be a bit wider. The maxim tanks are pretty interchangeable from year to year. As for one that's a quick plug and play of the same color, that can be very tricky to find in any condition let alone good for cheap. Sometimes you can score one off of craigslist that's been stripped for paint. Quite honestly, I've found the best thing to do is to get a parts bike on the cheap and re-purpose the parts if you're on a budget.

The only tanks that will interchange for you are the 85/86 xj700/700x/xj750/xj750x tanks.

The 80-83 xj650/xj750 maxim tanks are interchangeable among themselves but not with the secas or the 85/86 bikes.
