CBD33871-C221-433F-A2A9-E08EF6031AE7.jpeg Bike had a blue tank and a scruffy tail piece, mate has painted it for me for a very reasonable £45.
Think she looks very well now.

I got a Motad for my bike. It had a four into two Laser system on it until a car driver destroyed it when he hit my bike at a roundabout.

If it's the stainless Motad it will outlast you. Truly excellent systems.
The one that was on the GS has lasted 30 years and still sound but the downpipes are thin, now. The other GS still has one, but that's not running anyway and when it does go back on the road, an exhaust system for it simply doesn't enter the equation, they're that good.
Wish they hadn't gone belly-up or I'd have got one for my XJ.

Yeah, the XJ came to me with a Jama 4-2 system. The downpipes are still ok but the mufflers rotted within a year. A bunch of receipts from the PO showed the Jama wasn't even 10 years old, and know this bike was in regular daily use all the time, so it didn't sit and rot the pipes through neglect. Come to think of it, the balance pipe/box isn't in good condition, either. I'll probably weld one up from scratch or adapt something from another bike.

The downpipes on mine were quite corroded as was the balance pipe. Motorist hit my bike at a roundabout and that wrecked the JAMA system. Got replacement parts with the insurance and was fortunate enough to find the Motad on EBay. I need to learn to weld that's a good skill to have.

Like the look of those wheels! Just something about the design of them, cool. Nice bike!
