A buddy wrecked my bike....

    I let a reletively expierenced friend take my bike out for a spin around the block and I now regret it deeply. He ran into a brick wall just down the alley way. I took care of him. He's alive and all. But now I need a completely new front end. I looked in xj forever but couldn't find a complete. Any help? Also need a tank if anyone wants to sell one.

    I don't let anyone ride my bike, friends or family. Just because it can happen. If they get huffy, so what, they'll get over it. :D You might also find parts bikes on craigslist.

    The only time anybody EVER rides my bike is one lifelong close friend. And only when I'm riding HIS restored '73 Norton at the same time.

    I definitely made a huge mistake. The friend has seemingly learned his lesson after some prompting and is going to pay for the replacement parts. Hopefully it works out.
