It appears it is a 1981 or 1983 Maxim 750 ( handlebars, lights on it, mufflers are an 1982 thou )....parts alone are worth more than that.....I bet this bike can be pick up for $200.....I have an '82 Maxim......I should buy it....

    Cons:

    1. RAIDERS emblem on gas tank - big turn-off ( being from San Diego )
    2. No airbox or boots
    3. Probably no key
    4. Doesn't run
    5. No title

However, a lot of interchangable parts for my '82 XJ750J Maxim

    What do you think ????

It's for sure a 750 because of the front brakes; if you need a parts bike and have room it would be worth a couple hundred $$$.

Looks quite clean, do a compression test on the motor; you may have a "diamond in the rough" there.

I'm on the wrong coast, or else I'd be on it. Something else to tinker with. I've got the mechanic's curse.

The real problem would be getting it registered. Without the title it is just a parts bike.

No pink is why I don't really don't want to mess with it. I'm still working on my current project lol. Don't really need another headache.

it appears that there is a dent in the gas tank.....but it looks like it is a reflection of a boat with canopy that is reflecting on the tank.....

Added bonus....if tank is in good shape....except for the RAIDERS emblem....

    Pipes #2 & #3 a little rusty......

No contact yet from the seller...getting suspicious.....
