Im having starting problems. I have power everywhere! But not to the blue/white wire that goes to the starter solenoid when pushing the start button. Solenoid is good, did the bench test. i replaced the battery , relay , diode , and solenoid. All switches are good.

    I need help!!!!

just so you understand.... when turning the KEY to the "ON POSITION" the starter cranks for a split sec. WTF is that?

You may have replaced those parts for nothing! :(

Pull the starter switch apart and check for corrosion. Common fault.

Totally agree, try going through everything with a scotchbrite pad or wire brush and a dab or two of dielectric grease.

It does wonders. My bike didn't have a starter, horn, or turn signals when I got it. After pulling my hair out, the fix was free.

cleaning the button didn't do a dam thing.

    Still have same problem.

Next question........... does the BLUE/WHITE wire coming off of the starter solenoid need to have power to start bike?

Have you tried to jump the starter solenoid?

if you take a screw driver and jump the terminals on the solenoid the starter should turn.

yep. did that starter works. But its the blue/white wire that activates the solenoid. does this wire need power or neg power?

rite now my meter is showing 12volts when starter button is not pushed. when pushing starter button is pushed voltage drops to .04

IS THIS CORRECT for the blue/white wire?

    OK, I figured it out.

First of all I f***ed up by reversing the cables on the solenoid to re-route the wires. BAD MOVE. Turns out that blue/white wire is a Negative wire.

I skipped a page in the manual that diagnoses the OHMS between the blue/white wire and the battery post of the solenoid.

    All Better Now
