After market coils garbage

    The after market Chinese coils that were described on ebay as compatible with xj750s were garbage. They
    tested at 5.2 ohms primary and 15k ohms secondary windings. they made the bike run rough with surges
    of RPMs. The control display did flip flops. Beware of no name coils on ebay. The "0" ohm caps added to the
    problems.

    Which is why I avoid them and fit used MT08 coils from Gold Wings (and other Hondas).
    Good quality, last for decades and have easily replaceable leads.
    Oh, and cheap, too.
