Ok, so I bought my bike with pods installed. I finally broke down and bought a good looking air box off of flea bay, and I am looking forward to getting back to factory performance. My question is basically this: I will still be running a Mac four-two exhaust system. Any idea about jetting for this?

If it is jetted for pods it may be too rich, I guess your first step would be checking what size jets you have installed and what came stock. I would start back at stock and go from there. And like DW said, if it is stock jets it will just more than likely be the needles that need adjusting

Thanks guys. That's kind of what I was thinking. I DO have a Dynojet kit, so that will simplify (or complicate) things. Depends on how you look at it.

Dyno kit will help speed the process of the shimming with the adjustable needle. I have a 750 with a 4-1 with stock airbox, and K+N filter, My jets are 124 with no shim on the needle. There are a lot of variables with tuning, you will get it I'm sure, good luck.

Yeah I've discovered and rediscovered and, well, re-re-discovered the "joys" of tuning. Although, looking back it may have been futile anyway as I discovered that I have 750 carbs on a 650. Got the air jets coming to rejet to the stock 650 air jets, have several sizes of fuel jets. Anyway, thanks for the help.
