Air filter info (warning non stock air filter thread)

    So yeah i know the best air filter is the stock air filter but man my inner child would kill me if i didnt ask about this!

    so i saw this guys made a custom air filter


    and being the kind of guy i am compelled to try and get that kind of setup. But first of all it for harleys only, second is as i understand he's stopped production

    then i got the idea of using a gatling exhaust as the filter. i work with metal everyday so the physichal conversion wouldnt be so hard. but can you even use a muffler "the other way around"?

    A muffler will not filter. The packing material in most free-flowing exhausts is there to absorb sound waves. The airflow is still basically straight through an open pipe.

    Also the intake won't have enough vacuum to make that gatling thing spin.
