    Thanks guys! Yep, slip ons from a sporster. The guy I bought them from removed the baffles so they sound AWESOME!

    Yeah im planning on a set of those for my 80 XJ650 that im working on. I also plan to go with the Sporster 10.5 drop shocks, and the sportbob fender. Glad to here your happy with the way those mufflers sound on your bike, they deffenently look nice on it.

    Keep your old pipes and cut off the mouting brackets. I welded them onto new pipe and they damn near look stock! You can save some cash on the shocks and just cut your springs 2".....makes for a MUCH firmer ride but it sets lower thats for sure!

    Not exactly sure on the color. Just picked it out at shop and took his recommendation. I have been debating what to do with valve covers....may be my next winter project. I spent so much time on it this winter all I want to do now is ride!!
    Wesley, I forget what kind of bars they are....I will see if I can find out but they work GREAT!!
