Alternative for XJ900F ignition coils

    ..Are those for a Diversion similar
    I am looking for a new set of coils because cannot figure the warm-starting problem out.

    (Valve play and carburation is okay)

    On ebay there are sets offered for a price of 1 original.. From China?
    I am a little hesistant to try them.

    Does anyone have a tip for a set of NEW coils that can be fittet on mij 1988 XJ900F?

    Yes i just read it with great interest,:)
    (and found a set coils for them at 229 euro.. ouch)

    To be sure- There older Japs are relatively new for me.
    between which years of built do i have to look for?

    Use the CB 750 SOHC coils those are what the other owners used although DOHC coils should be fine if same part number. @Dave in Ireland used the Gold Wing coils early ones l believe?

    I have no idea in what range of production years that is but..

    Do you alle use second-hand (so already old, maybe vulnerable?) coils or can they be purchased new at a reasonable price?

    It's free advice, do with it what you will.
    FWIW, I don't recall anybody having trouble with a used MP-08 coil, taken from a Honda made in the past 30 years.
