    What's up everyone?

I bought a beautiful garaged 1983 XJ400k with 10,000 miles a month or two ago for $950 in Sacramento, CA and then it broke down and I needed help...

I happened upon this place when I was looking for a solution to the all too common fuse box fiasco. Not only did I find exactly what I needed, everyone was so nice, helpful, supportive, and friendly that I had to post this topic.

It is rare on the internet to find a place with what seems like ONLY cool people. No jerks criticizing for no reason or anything from what I've seen so far.

I just wanted to say that this is the best forum I've ever seen and there are SO MANY helpful threads and people that it has gotten me even more excited about my new bike.

I already replaced the whole glasstube fusebox with 4 inline blade fuses and look forward to modding the bike(handlebars, paint, ??) with all the stuff I've seen you guys do.

So I'm Jonesey(pron. Jones-E) and I'll be around a lot now. You guys rock, keep it up! Long live your XJs!

Glad some of these guys could help and hope you enjoy your XJ. I know I enjoy mine. You are right about his being a great forum with helpful considerate members. I am proud to be numbered in with them. I have always wanted to ride a 400. I had a Yamaha DT360 for my first bike and it was fun except for the hard starting. My next bike was a Honda CB360T. Fun sized bikes with great handling.
