With one of the floats sticking, I got gas in the engine and down into the oil. After draining the "bad" oil, I was going to fill it back up with some 20/50 AutoZone oil, run it for ten minutes, then drain that stuff and refill with my normal, Mobil-1 20/50. Would this ensure I get all the "bad" oil outta there?

Yep, but I used the walmart cheap 10/30 because I "am" cheap! I would also change the filter.

    It's all the same oil.

The expensive oil costs you more because they lay the cost of Marketing and Advertising right at your feet.

If you could write a zippy "Catch Phrase" for the Cheapo Brand and convince the packager that you could double the gross sales ...

"Cheapo Oil. Use it and lose it. Change it every two thousand miles. Clean Oil Protection you can afford every month! For Engine Protection and piece of mind ... that money can't buy!"

Rick, you are always ready with the great replies - and probably right about the marketing expense driving the price...
