    Hi everyone,
Yes I know that I will have to somehow clean the inside of the glass window but for the meantime, is there another reliable way to check the oil level? My oil window is so blurry and I can't see anything.

That somehow is the first time you have the clutch cover off. Use a Q-Tip.

The only reliable way otherwise would be to drain it and then add the recommended amount (that little "CM3" number cast into the cover) plus 200CCs. That little number (for instance, 2500CM3) is your oil capacity in CC's. 2500CM3=2500CC or 2.5 Liters.

is that with a filter change and the the second drain plug? i never bothered to figure it out.
wipe some oil on the outside of the window and get a flashlight, better yet clean the inside

    bigfitz,
Q-Tip? Does that mean that i can reach behind the glass window via the oil fill hole?

No you'll never be able to clean it with a q-tip unless you pull the cover off. Did you clean the outside? Mine was impossible to see through but the gunk and oxidation was all on the outside. Seafoam and a q-tip and it's crystal.

You cannot reach it through the filler hole, even with the longest Q-tip in the world. The clutch is in the way.
