another sight glass question

    :( My sight glass fell in a few weeks ago, thanks to everyone here I got some info and leads to get a new one, I pulled the old one out today and went to put the new one in. I did some searching and read that the easiest way to put it in is to take a large socket, put it on the rubber surrounding the glass, and tap it in. I tried this and shattered the glass. Is there a trick to put these in? :evil:
