Ok, when i was home last summer, i did some work on my bike. since i was only home for such a short time, i didn't do much with the brakes other than change the lines and put on new shoes/pads. (front/rear)

the rear brakes are solid. wouldn't change a thing.

The front brakes....well, after i left Michigan, my parents took the bike out for a stroll, and the front brakes locked up so tight that they bike dumped them on the ground...they actually had to get their truck to take it back..it was so locked up.

I was having problems bleedin the brakes when i was home, but thought i got it straightened out....i'm not sure if it is a problem with the lines going to the antidive or something else, but i'll be going through the brakes one more time when i get home this spring.

Is there something else i need to look at that would make the brakes lock up so badly? Is there a rebuild kit for the antidives? I read lots of posts about people removing them vs keeping them, and i would rather just keep them.

I'll be ordering the new ss. lines from chacal..the ones i bought last summer leaked when i put them on (my lesson learned from ebay)

btw, the calipers got rebuilt last summer. I"ll do it again, if need be. I want to be safe when riding this time around!

If the brakes are still locked, open the bleeders or crack the lower hose connection. If they stay locked it is the calipers.
