Any thoughts on this gauge for my 650?

I kinda dig these gauges for my bike. I'm going to be putting a 750 maxim tank on my bike. How does all this fuel gauge stuff work? These gauges are of a 93 gsx1100. Anyone out there know if they can interchange?

I doubt any of these will be compatible with your bike, but hey, you might get lucky.

You will probably need the sending unit out of the original gas tank for the fuel gauge to work on your bike.
I'd do a search on that model the gauges came from, to see what the ohm rating that gauge is, and see if the Yamaha sending unit is compatable.
I went thru all that madness when I decided to mount an after market gauge on mine and it took some research but I finally found the information I needed by google searching all day.
The speedometer should work and the tach will work if it's electric.

Nice looking gauges. I assume the indicator lights are behind the flat area between the tach and speedo?

There are different gauges like that for different bikes. Harley gauges are a different ratio (speedometers) than the metrics are and the cable probably won't fit.
JC Whitney or Dennis Kirk sites sell the correct models for our bikes. They are back lit and some have trip odometers on them also.

How do Seca 550 gauges and the 750 sending unit in the tank match up?

i dont have a fuel gauge with mine, it will probably wotk.. the biggest PITA was the tach you have to use a resistor(i used a dimmer switch) to dumb down the voltage going to the tach or it cuts the coil out making the bike missfire.. because the stock 650 is a cable tack and these gauges are a cable speedo and a electric tach.. the speedo is fine

i know its a hike but worth the trip.... but if you want.I wont charge you much you could bring the bike and leave it at my shop in morristown i can have those gauges looking and running like factory

Thanks assassinx1, I appreciate it. Right now I have to get it back up and running. Then I can mess with the other stuff. We'll hook up when I have my ducks in a row.

    - Clutch
    - Brake pads and shoes
    - Rear Tire
    - Maybe Front Tire
    - Valve Clearnce
    - Valve Cover Gasket
    - Front turn signals to match the back ones
    - ect, ect, ect...
