    Hi! I joined this site a few weeks ago, but I haven't introduced
    myself. My name is Jim, and I live in south Alabama. I recently bought
    a 1981 xj650 maxim, with 17k miles, excellent shape. I got it for $800.
    I think it was a sweet deal, hope so anyway. I was wondering if there
    are any other xj owners in this area or close by. I would like to meet
    some owners in this area to exchange ideas and go riding with sometime.

    Welcome yard59. Man, that looks like a sweet deal for 800 bux.

    Most members fill in their location. So, after you login you will see Members List in the Main Menu on the left. Scroll throught the members list and check out members locations. You can also sort that list by 'location' :wink:.

    Another idea is to post in our 'Rides & Rallies' forum if you want to organize or join a ride :)
