Anybody in or near ga?

Im trying to find some parts locally for an 81 xj650. I really need a rear rim and a 550 master cylinder. It would also be cool to ride with some other xj's

 

Had to get you off the doughnut hole of replies. Don't know about riders near you, but XJ4Ever is located in Atlanta, and he's got parts! Surely there's some XJer's in your area. If I was nearby I would go ride some twisties with ya.

 

Thanks, its ruff finding people that don't ride crotch rockets or harleys around here. Maybe one day I will find some folks to ride with.

 

I though XJs "were" crotch rockets! I know my 82 650 was.

 

Im From Ga., does that count? Im plannimg on being up that way (with the bike in the back of the truck) around Christmas. How far away from Rome are ya? hwy 27? 411?

 

I guess crotch rocket can be a loose term. But I would like to say my xj isn't. Any ever seen a hard tail crotch rocket?

I'm in Doraville, (Northeast Atlanta). I'm pretty much done riding for this season, but I do take a lot of 4 to 10 day sport touring camping trips to the Western Carolina and Virginia mountains - Kickstand Lodge, Blueridge Motorcycle Campground, Willville. My XJ750 is "Old School . . . with all the right tricks." I don't do day rides, nothing interesting to ride, even in north Georgia with the reduction in speed limits, and constant police enforcement. If you're interested, we possibly can do some riding/camping next year.
